Resident Volunteer Program
If you are pursuing a higher education in the Fire/EMS fields, you may be interested in becoming a Resident Intern Firefighter at Seaside Fire & Rescue. Are resident interns are a valuable members of our team while going to school to further their education, advance in certifications and experience.
Interns work by rotating amongst 3 shifts, live at no cost at the fire station, are paid callout and drill pay in addition to a stipend for tuition. The on-duty intern responds on the first -out apparatus and off-duty interns may respond on any additional units needed.
Applications may be picked up in person from the Fire Station or via e-mail by contacting Division Chief Dave Rankin with a request: email@example.com.
